Lori graduated from Parson's School of Design in NYC in 1982 with a B.F.A. in illustration. Since then she has been a freelance illustrator specializing in naturalistic illustration using the combined media of airbrush, hand rendering and digital. This is a technique she developed that solves the problem of airbrush being too slick, and digital being too stiff and cumbersome, and having a pasted together look. The combination she has found produces a blended beautiful image.
